MorgenStreet is a boutique real estate agency based in Oberursel (Taunus) near Frankfurt am Main, with international reach. We help clients buy and sell premium residential properties and invest in real estate by combining trust, creativity, and a deep commitment to exceptional client experiences. Our customers include local homeowners and international buyers, and investors who value our professional service with a personal touch.

Our mission is to empower families and investors to turn their property dreams into reality while shaping a future of impactful and sustainable real estate practices.

We are a remote-first company — our team works from around the world, from Germany to Mauritius to Guatemala. What connects us is a shared culture of trust, ownership, and long-term thinking. We value entrepreneurial spirit, creativity backed by data, and building genuine relationships with our clients.

At MorgenStreet, you will create outstanding client experiences while building a globally connected brand. Every team member plays a vital role in shaping our culture and driving our success.

Role Overview

As Creative Lead, you will be the steward of MorgenStreet’s visual identity and online presence. Our website, media, and digital touchpoints are the foundation of our client experience, and your role is to ensure they consistently reflect the premium quality and trust that define our brand. This role is ideal for a designer with leadership ambition: someone ready to move beyond execution into shaping design systems, brand guidelines, and creative direction across all channels. You will guide the creative side of our marketing engine — leading the development of visuals, storytelling formats, and media that make MorgenStreet distinctive in a competitive real estate market. This is a freelance, remote-first role with potential to grow into a permanent leadership position as the agency expands.

Core Responsibilities

The Creative Lead owns MorgenStreet’s brand identity. You will maintain and evolve the design system, ensuring consistency across our website, marketing materials, social content, and client communications. You will set standards for how MorgenStreet is visually represented, balancing creativity with discipline.

Your role extends into directing the production of media — from photography and video editing to social visuals and print materials. You will not only create design assets yourself but also brief and manage freelancers or agencies when needed, making sure deliverables meet both brand standards and business goals.

At a strategic level, you will collaborate with the Head of Marketing and Founder to align creative direction with growth objectives. You will propose new design ideas, storytelling approaches, and content formats that help MorgenStreet stand out, and you will ensure that every client touchpoint reflects the same premium experience.

Experience

You bring 5+ years of professional design experience, ideally with a mix of web, media, and brand design. You have managed creative projects end-to-end and can show a portfolio that demonstrates both strong aesthetics and strategic thinking.

You are highly skilled in tools such as Webflow, Adobe Creative Suite, and video editing software. Experience with design system development, responsive web design, and content optimization for SEO is strongly valued. You may have already led small teams or managed freelancers and are comfortable balancing hands-on design with creative direction.

Reporting & Success Metrics

The Creative Lead reports to the Head of Marketing (or directly to the Founder until that role is filled). Success will be measured by the consistency and strength of MorgenStreet’s brand identity across all channels, as well as by the impact of creative assets on client engagement and lead generation.

Performance Metrics

  1. Consistency and quality of visual identity across all platforms.
  2. Timeliness and accuracy of website updates and design deliverables.
  3. Engagement and reach of creative content (visuals, media, campaigns).
  4. Positive feedback from clients and internal teams on design outputs.
  5. Contribution to brand recognition and long-term differentiation.

Technical Skills

As Creative Lead, you should be proficient in advanced design and web tools. You must be able to both execute design work and set technical standards for others. This includes expertise in Webflow, Adobe Creative Suite, and video editing tools, as well as an understanding of responsive design and design system creation.

Technical Skills

  1. Webflow (advanced site updates, CMS management, design tweaks).
  2. Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects).
  3. Video editing and motion graphics software.
  4. Responsive design and cross-platform optimization.
  5. Development and maintenance of design systems and brand guidelines.
  6. Familiarity with SEO, accessibility, and UX best practices.

Human Skills

Leadership in this role requires both vision and collaboration. You should be able to inspire others with your creative ideas, while also listening and translating feedback into design decisions. Communication is essential — you must explain creative rationale clearly to both marketing colleagues and business stakeholders.

You should be organized, able to manage multiple projects and deadlines, and disciplined in maintaining consistency across deliverables. At the same time, you should bring an entrepreneurial spirit: spotting opportunities to improve brand presence, experimenting with new formats, and driving innovation. Most importantly, you should build trust — internally by collaborating with a distributed team, and externally by creating a brand that clients associate with professionalism and quality.

Human Skills

  1. Creative vision balanced with discipline.
  2. Strong communication and storytelling ability.
  3. Organizational and project management skills.
  4. Leadership in guiding freelancers or agencies.
  5. Entrepreneurial problem-solving mindset.
  6. Trust-building and collaborative spirit.

Growth Path

The Creative Lead role begins with ownership of design standards and media production. Over time, it expands into a leadership position that defines brand identity at a strategic level and manages a team of creative contributors. You may evolve into MorgenStreet’s Creative Director, shaping not only visuals but the entire brand experience — from website and marketing campaigns to events, media partnerships, and client communications.

Growth Path Milestones

  1. Ownership of design systems and brand consistency.
  2. Leadership of creative production across web, media, and campaigns.
  3. Strategic input into marketing campaigns through creative direction.
  4. Management of a creative team (designers, videographers, freelancers).
  5. Evolution into Creative Director responsibilities.
